The recommendation was that the items from the Local Transport Forum listed on the screen be adopted by Council, excluding item LTF 089-25 which had an amendment from Councillor Liu.

Councillor Jameson moved the recommendation and Councillor Liu seconded it. A councillor asked about the difference between a bus zone and a taxi zone in Penshurst. A speaker explained that the RSL club had made the request because it no longer runs a courtesy bus and now uses Ubers or a car.

The meeting confirmed the minutes of the Community and Culture Committee meeting held on 9 February 2026. That was moved by Councillor Mort and seconded by Councillor Lou.

Council then received the report of the Georges River Council Sports Advisory Committee meeting held on 26 February 2026. Councillor Mort moved it and Councillor Domovsky seconded it.

The report of the Beverley Park Steering Committee meeting held on 4 March 2026 followed. Mayor Councillor Borg moved it and Councillor Mort seconded it.

Later discussion covered how development applications are dealt with. A speaker explained that if conditions can be placed on an application, that is the first way to deal with it, and asking for additional information is the second. Refusals are a last resort.

The meeting closed at 7.41pm.
